Carmen, you're going to be a really busy man with a shotgun in about 12 years!
We want to make sure we raise her with the right value system. That's what will make her really attractive to others. I want Abby to be "outward focused". To have compassion and concern for others who may not have what she has. I want her to excude that something special. Like Granny. Everyone wants to be around Granny. Everyone wants to be her friend. It's because she gives to others unselfishly. She ministers to others in pain. That's my dream for our little girl. Of course, she has her own path to follow in life. So...stay tuned!

My brother just sent me 2 more pics he took while he was here in MB.
Does she love her daddy?
Here we are on the boardwalk at one of the outdoor shopping places called Broadway at the Beach...

Carmen,
As we chose not to have children. I have three comments for you:
1. She is precious.
2, It is hard to believe how quickly they grow up. It seems like the day before yesterday that Suzanne was pregnant. I am sure glad that I am NOT as old as you. As I do not have children that old, you must be older than us.
3. Happy to see your comment on instilling values. Not everyone is "cut out" to be a parent. I have a co-worker that has a totally irresponsible twenty-five year old daughter that is the Mother of two children. To the point that he just took custody of them. As the old saying goes: People do not come with Operator Manuals. That includes the guidelines on who should be a parent and those that should not raise children. Abby should have a good future.
