da bear
So Saturday afternoon Barb and I were headed out and we'd only got about a mile from our house.
As I turned up Harvard road from Green I glanced in my rear view mirror and saw the big black shape go loping across the road.
We banged a quick u-ey and drove back to where I saw him. sure enough he was still in the brush just off the road.
I guess about 300 lbs, 30 inches at the shoulder and 4 -5 feet long.
he probably was pigging out in zayka's cornfield.
Obviously the bear was not used to the paparazzi and wouldn't cooperate with us trying to get a good photo.

He was just trying to lure you in closer ......Like the guy in the news a little while ago who ended up as the bear's lunch. That guy did manage to get a couple of great pics..

I've noticed that auto focus on cell are really crappy if you're shooting leafy scenes. they can't find enough crisp edges to resolve on.

^ESTES PARK — A young black bear broke into the Estes Park Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and had a good time eating candy.
Surveillance video shows the bear going in and out of the store seven times before his craving was satisfied.
The owner of the store said the only evidence was a little dirt on the counter and a cellophane wrapper on the floor.
The owner discovered the bear was able to get in because a lock on the door didn't latch properly.
