Sorry but to be fair on our way to the crusher we must include the weekend toys of the sports car crowd. If your S is not a daily driver it will be crushed along with the pickups and SUV'S. Have a nice day. Your government.

Bite your tongue Mister! Our garage queens are "cheap" forms of conspicuous consumption.

Why? I put so few miles on my S that the government probably should send me a special stimulus check just to buy and waste some gas. (For the benefit of the economy, of course.)

Our weekend toys really aren't the problem.

My final comment for which the moderators can ban me from the site because IT IS meant as a personal attack and I don't give a rat's ass. You are indeed arrogant, self-righteous, closed-minded person who is full of shit, think you know what's best for everyone, and as much fun to communicate with as trying to have an intelligent conversation with an oak tree.

When you were in the process of conceiving your children, were you thinking about what type of vehicle you would require? Are you a member of a catholic church that preaches go forth an multiply? Do those that have 4-5 children offset those of us who have none? Don't bother to answer because I won't be listening. My life feels lighter already knowing you won't be in it!

Damn I hope I get banned!
I don't care, one way or the other, but I thought that this was exactly the kind of thing that the Vintage forum was set up to get away from.

As an SUV owner, I say: Thanks, Val.

I drive the S, I drive the WRX, and I drive the Jeep. I put less than 10K per year on the Jeep. The Jeep is the most comfortable vehicle and has creature comforts the others don't. I've been driving it for six years and will continue to do so. With car seats and grandkids it works for me. Will I buy a vehicle that consumes a little less gas next time, probably. However, with only 58K on the odometer, and no car payment, I'm not running to the car lot anytime soon.
