We went and saw Clutch (4th time for me) with Rival Sons recently. Opener was Black Stone Cherry ... but .... to be nice in case there are fans here ... I did not pay much attention to that part

Rival Sons put on a good show. There is some of their stuff I do not like as much but some I really like and they have a great singer.

Clutch of course is one of my favorite bands. They played 2nd but pretty much stole the show. Largest and loudest crowd by far when they were playing.

For the first part of the tour Black Stone Cherrys place was taken by Fu Manchu ... who I really wanted to see live but they were not on the last half.

Well, we are all getting older, Gene even engifneer. Nope, never heard of them but the BSC band name sounds familiar.

Deb, those are some good ones. One of the advantages of living in the BIG cities. Although I am not a fan of live concerts I know most think they are great.

We saw Sting recently at the MGM In National Harbor. Great show. He sang for 2 hours without a break.

Just signed up for a Ford’s Theater online discussion later this month of Charles Dickens’ life and work presented by one of his descendants. Should be interesting. The theater has a very good production of A Christmas Carol.
