Co-housing for Vintage S2000... :D

I think the best idea is to have a "city house" (loft, condo, etc) AND a "country house". Right now we have the country house (2.5 hours away) and a pleasant near-in suburban house (20 min commuter train ride from CC Philly).
It's actually pretty neat for our present life...but there's still the lure of the "out west" and a less congested life, with more "open roads"

Ok, if we can get Rob away from the rock pile long enough to focus on our new community instead of trying to hit cthree and krazik with river stones maybe we can make some progress.
As I always say to my experts, "I'm just a dumb lawyer, I don't know how things work, you tell me how to do it." The architects can tell us how much land we would need for a race course. I would like something with an infield loop so we can vary between a high speed and a tight circuit. Then we need a paddocks where each of us has at least one work bay. We also need a parking lot for testing and autocrosses.
I think some would be concerned with the noise. This could be dealt with in a couple of ways. One is sound barriers, another is elevation. I seem to remember it helps reduce noise if you put the loud thing down lower than the homes. I think the residences should be at one end of the development and the race course and paddocks at the other end. I, for one, don't want a big yard to maintain, but others might. I would want a three car garage detached from the house.
Deb, the Carolinas would probably be great for this, or Georgia. How much does undeveloped land with frontage on an existing road in a decent town cost in these areas? How much land would we need to make this "reasonable?" How much does it cost to build a race course?

Well, I should get Raul (airgate) involved in this. I bet he could check out land prices down there. He'd love the idea, even if he has about 30 years before he's of retirement age. I guarantee you w1ingman (Dave) would also. Raul is in New Bern in Eastern NC where I'm going for Thanksgiving. Dave is in Va Beach.

I think W1ingman is about 150 miles west of VA beach...around Charlottesville
