I was thinking the same thing Jerry (OMG Jerry & I are thinking alike -- that's scary). OTOH, perhaps I'll become uber frugal and go to Antarctica and eat penguins!

Small town bordering bigger towns. 5 minutes to work each day, on a gulf-side highway. Mild climate. Half way between a fair size city (Mobile) one of the most interesting cities in America. Access to good healthcare. Low cost of living. Lots of activities and events year round. If we could just do something about those pesky hurricanes.

We are taking a quickie trip to the Big Apple this Sat/Sun/Mon and I'll find out what the architect's current thinking is. They absolutely all that is "NYC" so I doubt they'll be moving back to his hometown anytime soon = Fresno, CA

It is beautiful there; I have enjoyed the GGG's and then later coming back for a visit.
