YVW. You hit the jackpot of best places to live when you found that place.

Morris (Dean) what about you? When I drove through Napa at the end of January I was amazed at the change/growth since the last time I was up there, just a few years ago. Do you like it there and plan on staying?

I live where I live; I've got what I've got; it is what it is. I enjoy what I can and avoid what I don't.

You wouldn't like it here. In fact, LA is a terrible, awful place with the most god-awful weather there ever was of any geographic region EV-ER. And the choices of cultural venues, canyon roads, exotic cars, restaurants, educational institutions, career possibilities, and recreational opportunities are just so completely non-existent that it's truly abysmal and devastatingly depressing. Total third-world country style. No one should move here. Yeah, stay away for your own good. Seriously. I'm not kidding. Not even a little bit.

(I ain't dissin' other people's home regions of choice. They all have beauty of their own and advantages and disadvantages just like anywhere else does. My feeling is to enjoy what you have when you have it no matter where you are.)

I enjoyed having a nice yard/garden/house for many years, but there came a time where I didn't want the responsibility anymore to maintain all that. Getting separated from the ex just precipitated the change. I wanted to be near a subway station and within walking distance of amenities. And to be able to leave town without worrying about it (24-hour front desk). I got all that and more. So, for me, it was probably the best decision I ever made. Followed closely by having a second date with the +1.

Yeah. It's awful. Don't know why so many people keep coming here.

I'd like to have a like button too. You're a computer guru, Murph. Can't you get us one?

Sorry. Not within my capabilities here in this forum. We could link to a picture of one though...

Maybe that's a bit much. Here's a smaller one.
