Chuck Berry, one of Rock n Rolls all time greats has died. He was 90 years old. A career that spanned more than 50 years, he paved the way for many who followed. An awful lot of great music came from his guitar.

One of the icons of R & R. So many hits and a style like no other. RIP Chuck.

 

I was fortunate to see him in concert. He was great.

 

RIP to a legend. Keith Richards and Mick Jagger worshipped Chuck. Berry's guitar style permeates all of their music. Esp early stuff.

 

The Michael Jackson of his day when it came to moves while playing music. RIP

 

Especially the duck walk.

 

Thanks for the memories. I remember watching Chuck Berry on Dick Clark’s “American Bandstand”. It’s odd to watch the mannerisms of the audiences in the sixties, it was though they were sedated before the performances or warned about showing any enthusiastic behaviors.
