So far we bought a camera and a new treadmill for ourselves. I hate it when we go shopping other people and buy ourselves more than they get. Not really, I love it.

Last year I hoped to buy a Cayman S, but alas, no.

We bought a new Panasonic 1080P Plasma for ... get this... the bedroom. Looks fabulous and I still have it throttled back for the first 100 hours.

I know I cannot be the only one, come on, fess up.

Who buys them self a Christmas gift, and if so, what did you buy or are planning to buy for yourself this year?

For me I went smaller scale, usually I drop a couple hundred and get something I have really wanted. This year although I have really wanted one for a while, I got it now because my wrists just needed help putting lots of wood screws in.

Ryobi 18V 2-Speed/24-Torque Setting Drill Kit With Flashlight; includes 2-batteries, charger and storage case.
I've had those for several years; long enough that one battery crapped out. I'm sold, because Home Depot had replacement batteries. Additionally, if you want to spend the money on batteries and charger, the Ryobi Lithium Ion batteries fit those tools.

I didn't think much of the flashlight when I bought the set, but I find it surprisingly useful. I also like the hand-held vacuum ("Tough Sucker") that uses that battery.

I bought myself a new Dell computer. It was supposed to come Friday but they tried to deliver it today while I was getting my S's oil changed. My son made me do it. He was here on Thanksgiving and told me what I needed and didn't need.

I'm also going to buy a Canon 40D camera and two lenses as soon as I find the best deal with a reputable company.
