I am so proud of my boy, the dedication, eagerness to learn and better himself at the age of 5 is just awesome.
His class Jr Novice fields anywhere from 13-18 cars on race day with drivers from 5-8. I really wasnt sure if he could pull off a win this season b/c of the age range of the drivers.
He has sat on the pole though the last 3 out of 4 races but 20 lap feature races are another thing.
Well tonight he pulled it off...... starting on the pole then losing the lead after 6 laps... only to get it back after the lead car got caught up in lapped traffic making a mistake trying to pass on the outside while Christian shot under both of the cars for the pass and never looked back to take the checker flag.

Come to think of it, could you have him send me his autograph? I want one before he starts charging for them. Besides, if he decides to pursue racing as a profession it would be cool to have an autograph from the beginning.
