Did my trek downtown today. The blossoms were at peak and gorgeous. Took quite a few pics, so decided to make a separate thread. I took a lot skyward so as not to have all the tourists in them!

More...the scaffolding on the Wash Monument is to repair the extensive damage done by the earthquake 18 months ago. It will go all the way to the top and take about a year to repair. So it is closed - a big disappointment to the tourists.

Very nice, Deb. Looks like it was a beautiful day there as it was here. Our one cherry tree got confused by the changing temps, and did not bloom dramatically.
