OK, its a little off topic, but I wanted to share a few videos of our new kitties. I know there was a "show us your pets" thread, but I couldn't find it. You can download all four here:

Cats are People Too

BTW, there are Hawaii S2000 videos on my site too.

Colin,

As you know, I have viewed your cat videos before.

Nice work on the LeMans start video. Although, I am NOT sure that it would be a popular way to start one of our drives.

Aloha Colin,

I have viewed your "Farewell Cruise" video. Again, a job well done. Although I did find two things interesting. Us Vintage folks back in to our parking spots where you thought that was odd with the one person that backed in.

I guess that the thought here on the "main land" where people are not quite as polite is that if one backs into a parking spot one does not have to worry about traffic being in that parking spot. However, if one pulls into a spot head first, one has to back out into traffic. One thought that I have is with the price of gas there in the "Aloha State" being so high, you do not have the risk of as many big SUV's parking on either side of you (I.E. The Ford Excursion or Chevy Suburan ) that makes visability just about impossible (coupled with rude drivers) to safely back out of a parking spot.

The second point that I found interesting was the couple of cars that had Hard Tops in "year round top down country". Some of the members here on Vintage would "kill" to be able to put there tops down in the winter months.

Colin, what kind of timing is this? I just watched all the video links and even got tears in my eyes. I LOVE your videos! Right now, it's 9:44PM in California and my siamese Zoro, is out. He's NOT an outside cat. I had decided that the coyotes could eat him because he's been so annoying in the last year or so. He's nine years old. He constantly meows for attention and he bolted out today when the door was open as I left. I guess I'll go out again, looking for him.

Thank you very much for sharing your cat stuff.

I love cats. I've always wanted an Absynnian too but I heard they were mean and unprdicatable. BTW, my sister lives on Kauai. Better go Zoro hunting.

I found Zoro next door. I had a flashlight and his blue eyes lite up as perfect reflectors even though I couldn't see him at all. He must have been in a pine tree because his belly has sap on it.

^Crystal always worries when Zoro gets out.

^Zoro doesn't like his sticky swing belly. (His belly swings side to side when he runs.)

Not true at ALL on the Abysinnian comment

I have two and they are the best! Very demanding and the most social cats I have been around.

That was their reputation about 30 years ago. I'm glad to know it's not true. Next cat I get I'll look into them again. I love their coloring and shape.
