I can't really agree across the board. For some my answer is "wait and see." For others, I really don't know enough about them.

For yes, I'd say the limited production (only 69 according to the story) COPO Camaro and the Alfa.

For no, I'd say the Jeep, the BMW and the Focus ST.

For maybe, I'd say the Corvette, the Jaguar and the Maserati. I'm pretty close to putting all three of these in the no category.

For I don't know enough, I pick the Challenger and the NISMO 370Z.

They seem like random choices to me. By looking exclusively at 2014 cars, they left out some good future classics. I know for sure that Rob's S2000 will be a Pebble Beach classic by then!

I do think that some of these cars might be collectable in the future, but I don't think any of these will become classic.

I oftentimes think that these presentations on MSN are nothing more than a subtle form of advertising. Still, I find them fun to look at.

Perhaps the Jag could be the more modern "e-type" classic.

In 2039 I would be 93 so I'm not planning on finding out, but perhaps Roseanne will send me an esp-mail

Somewhat related article about future non-classics.

I agree Dave, I have an 03 TJ Jeep Rubicon. This was the first Rubicon Jeep made and mine is in mint condition. It has the iconic 4.0L engine considered to be one of the 10 best engines of all time. The 14 has the Penstar 260HP engine and more electronics and creature comforts unbefitting of a Jeep. I do have A/C and that's about it. Not sure my 03 will be a classic but I do know it has a better shot than the 2014. I plan to give it to my grandson in about 8 years for his High School Graduation. I'll be 78 and will need a lift chair to get in it.
