Can't say that I really miss any of them except the S. I'm really sorry it is no longer being produced. It is a fine wonderful little car.

I like the historical aspect of the Maybach. The thirties cars were truly outstanding. But the pretentious super S-Class Maybach did not live up to it's hype. MB has made some major boo boos in the last decade+. Won't miss the new 'Maybach'. She ain't what she use ta be!

I really don't miss any of those.

If I was to pick a car that I have the fondest memories of owning, it would be my 1951 ford deluxe convertible. It looked just like this one with 2 tone green leather interior, flathead with 3 in the tree and an overdrive.

That car was a good time in many ways. It had a big back seat.

The author of that article is not a big fan of the S2000.

Who the heck misses the VW Routan? (a poor man's Oddosy with a stupid name) The Maybach? (Overpriced Rolls wannabe) The Mercedes R Class? (A combination of mini-van and suv with the worst characteristics of both)

I do miss Saabs. Not the watered down dumbed-down GM design. I'm talking about real key-on-the-floor, weird cupholder, "interesting" body shape, honest-to-God Saabs. Not that I would own one but I miss seeing this quirky and innovative marquee on the street.

And the author doesn't "get" the S2000. Probably never driven one. Probably doesn't even enjoy driving that much and most likely couldn't heel/toe downshift if his very existence depended on it.

Funny, I own the first two vehicles on the list! No one that has ever driven an S2000 would ever call it stale or outdated. Plus, I love my Ranger. It is the only American built vehicle that I have owned that hasn't been back in the shop!
