Am I the only driver that does not watch the brake lights of the car in front but react to the speed of the cars in front (as far ahead as I can see) instead? Personally I don't use my brakes a lot, I tend to slow down by letting off the gas instead of using my brakes.
No, you are not the only one. I also drive as far ahead as I can see. I am always amazed by the people that drive by only looking right in front of their hood.

The fact that I still have the original stock brake pads with almost 96K miles attest that I also do not use my brakes a lot. I wonder how much more life they would have without the track days on them?

Missed one; The Speed Limit in a School Zone. It's 15 MPH here in FL not 20.

yeah a lot of the questions were local rule related.
I believe here in mass pedestrians always have the right of way.

Missed the fire truck (said 300 ft) and the alcohol question.

Took the same test and still got two wrong. 25 feet from a stop sign and 500 feet from a fire truck. I'll have to take a tape measure with me the next time I drive.
Yeah... I had no idea of those either.

I also got the pedestrian one wrong, but I agree with my answer more than their's.

I put that they have right of way all the time and the test said that they have right of way at crosswalk and intersections only (painted or not painted). But honestly, if you hit a pedestrian anywhere on the road, the driver is always going to be at blame for it, so that answer to me is nonsense.
