Rob,

At this point, why do you think this is a valid ticket?

1. No fine amount.

2. No specific violation.

3. Not listed in the system.

It seems the cop may have written it to scare you and just voided the ticket number, or maybe it's a fake ticket that some citizen puts on cars that take two spaces.

^^ ....EXACTLY what I was thinking, LB

I actually have a few of these in my secret comptmt, but it's an obvious fake...I think they were an early Mini-Cooper promo item

I just tried checking again and the ticket still isn't listed. Tomorrow I'm going to call the court.

Bill,

I suppose it's possible but if the ticket isn't real, it's a mighty good fake. If it is fake it sure has me fooled, but I hope you're right. It's on the same cardboard that real tickets come on, it's printed in multicolors, and the writing is carbon copy type writing. It looks real to me, but I could be wrong.

I thought that the townships kept a record of the tickets and cops couldn't void tickets once written, also it has a court date and time filled in.

I'll find out tomorrow

This is just the weirdest thing, Rob.

By the way, you will be getting second place in the Concours. My Sebring with the red interior will beat yours.

Yours will be a very close second.

Not likely. My "cop magnet" license plate should clinch the prize. Besides, Sebring Silver with a Black interior is the sign of a purpose built machine. No sizzle, all steak. No show, all go. The kind of things that great cars are made of.

Don't be disappointed. Second place isn't bad. The trophy is only a little smaller.

Have a great Route 26/Tomcatt drive this weekend.

You both got it wrong, Berlina Black with Black Interior will trump all other colors in the concours
