Lands End, free shipping and great fit. I hate to shop in stores.

Lainey that just means those are women's measurements compared to mens. Mens jeans ride higher.

Now who wants to measure lainey?

haha

Men's jeans are a piece of cake. I've bought Rick plenty over the years. Rarely have I ever had to return a pair.

Another exercise in futility this evening. Old Navy, Gap ($69.50, no way!) Express, Sears, Macy's. Brand names, store names, these jeans are made for tall skinny girls, or girls who don't care what shows.

Ended up with a pair of Levi's but really not that happy with them. I think they are going back. I'll wear my old rags. Half the stores are selling stuff that looks worse than what I've already got.

The catalog purchase may be next. I may go broke with shipping charges when I return everything.

I'm a walking billboard for Chico's, but their jeans are in the $65 range, unless you get them on sale. Their sizes run from 0-3: SIZE 0 - US 4/6; SIZE .5 - US 6/8; SIZE 1 - US 8/10.

I looked on their website. They may be next. Not sure where the local Chico's store is.

The Levi's I found do fit in length, but the rise isn't right. The back pockets are too far down on my backside. Maybe they were "shorts" as far as length, but not cut to petite sizing.

Well, you can find that out from their website. They have two lengths - short and regular.

I'll look further. Many of the jeans today have spandex in them. I don't care for that. I like plain old cotton.

I'm not built for many of the styles out there. I looked at shoes while I was out too... on the styles on some of those...

I really, really don't like shopping all that much, especially when I'm in need of a particular item. I'd rather find "stuff" when I'm not looking. So much more enjoyable.

Unlike the rest of the 'guys' I have a terrible time finding jeans that fit. Honestly, I'd gladly pay $200 per pair or more for custom jeans that fit, since that's all I really like to wear. I require a really high rise to be comfortable. I wish every day was a toga party. Years ago I found a brand at K-Mart, of all places, and bought them all in my size. Had I realized that I'd never see that brand again I would have gone to every store in the state to stock up. Eventually they wore out. After trying on dozens and dozens of brands I found that River Road has the highest rise and I special order them.
