[QUOTE=Lainey,Feb 11 2009, 09:25 AM]Patty a "right click" and a "save as" and your pictures can be saved on another computer. I'm sure there is a way to lock images, but I don't know how.

[QUOTE=Kyras,Feb 11 2009, 01:13 PM] ^I thought that if you made your photo album "Private" that when someone clicked on a photo it wouldn't let them copy it.

After: This is my favorite of the trip and I took it when we first got to Yosemite, on my birthday. I cropped the tree branches across the top out, and darkened it.
somehow I can visualize that as a 20" x 20" 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle created by some cruel SOB...

I did try it Patty, and I now have one of your pics....
see?
I think if someone one "double clicks" the pic, it gets them nothing, but they can "grab" the pic off of the web site with a right click and a "Save Image As."

it actually does make a big difference Patty.
the image that we get to see is 600 x 400.
The Private image in your gallery could be full res. and we still see the smaller one.
BUT if it was marked public we can click through and download the full resolution.

Gene, let's try to coordinate when you guys come through Colorado, ok? Maybe you could schedule an overnight with us in the Durango area? I may be going over to S2KCA Days, too.
A) The route out that we'll be taking
B) The route back
C) Do we fly or drive
D) If we drive, which car
E) Are we going at all
F) If we drive, do we take our dog
G) If we leave her, who do we leave her with for 3 or so weeks
H) Etc.
I hope to have all these questions resolved by the time they open registration, which now looks like it will be in June, based on the last post I read.
Anyway, thanks again for the kind offer. I would like to visit Colorado again, as my mother was born on a ranch near Deer Trail (about 70 miles east of Denver), and I would like to see if I could find the old ranch house (I took her, along with my dad back there right after I graduated from college, but 40+ years have elapsed and erased a few brain cells.)
(I just Googled for a map, and it appears that visiting both Deer Trail and Durango would not be out of the way...426 miles apart) Food for thought.

Assuming that's true, I might as well never make an album private.
