I really liked him in his early days. His strength was that he wouldn't let anyone, whether a politician, priest, or average joe, use his program to spout propagande. People had to actually answer questions (you can imagine how he could make a politician sqirm!). And he does do that to politicians from both major parties, I'll grant him that.

Lately, though, now that he's made a splash, he's gotten cocky and arrogant, and seems to want to shut down anyone who disagrees with his personal pet theories.

My biggest peeve is his rantings against 'ideology'. Doesn't he realize that a person without an ideology has (by definition) no principles? Sometimes this seems to describe him pretty well....

I watch him now and again - the only interviews worth anything anymore are the ones where he screws a politician against the wall with his own words.
