Beautiful Car Museum
Last week while out and about we noticed a sign for a car museum. Newport (RI) car museum. Actually in Portsmouth, RI. Had to google it to check it out, HAD to go there today to check it out. It was one of the nicest, classiest car museums we've ever been in. The cars were pristine and beautifully displayed. Photographs on the walls, lighting, seating if so desired and even a rather fancy ladies' room. They had performance vehicles, Fords grouped together, Corvettes, Mopar, a room with the "Fin" cars and of course Jags, Lambos, Mercedes and Porsche are represented.
Here are some pics.

Nice 53 or so Vette! We're going to the Montrose Car Show this morning with our dogs. 300+ cars. American flags everywhere. Breakfast at Joselitos at 10 on the deck with Margaritas. Watch and hear the alcohol dragsters fire up. I treasure this annual Fourth of July Sunday event.

Awesome display of some timeless beauties. I went to Muscle Car City in Punta Gorda last year. Every year Corvette produced in showroom condition plus tons of muscle cars, trucks, rest mods etc. I saw a sign I almost bought for my detailing garage but chickened out. ASSHOLE'S GARAGE.

Great pictures. I like the '53 Corvette, the white Mustang #16 and the A.C. Cobras. I'd never own one, but I really like looking at the picture of the red Caddy in the fin room. If anything says "American excess" it's that car.
Thanks for post these pictures Lainey.
