This is what I've been using. Seems to work fine. I use it in slow-charge 0.8 amp mode.

I have three Battery Tenders and together I don't think they cost what one CTEK costs. They work great.... been using for years.

I have two battery tenders that I purchased from WalMart. I also have two portable jump start batteries. One is a Powerall that I purchased from Amazon.com and the Jump&Go that I purchased from WalMart. The Powerall was $113.00 and the Jump&Go was $59.00 The good thing about the portable jump start is that they are so small that they don't take up any room. Overall dimensions 5 1/2" X 3 1/2" X 1". I used the Powerall to jump start a 400+ HP Corvette that was totally dead at a car meet. Nobody believed that the small powerpack would start the car. Three people bought one on the spot when they saw how well it worked.

I am curious if people are using the term "Battery Tender" (which is a Deltron product) like one uses the terms "Scotch Tape" or "Kleenex"?
I have three Deltron Battery Tenders. I have a two Amp that I have hooked up to my two six volt golf cart batteries (in series) to provide power to my 3600 GPH bilge pump as a back up to my sump pump.
I use a 1.25 Amp one on the S during the winter months.
I also have a .75 Amp on hooked up to my garden tractor for the winter months to prevent the battery from sulfating. The good news is that since the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I dropped the mower deck off and put on the snow blade and tire chains, so that should pretty much guarantee that it will NOT snow this winter.
