Phils look like they are the hottest team in baseball at the moment, 3 games out of a wildcard.

Big series starting tonight against Atlanta. It's an exciting time for DC baseball!

Braves managed to eke one out against the Nats last night behind Medlen. If they can win today they'll be back where they were 3 weeks ago.

Yep...I'll be happy to win one, but two would be nice.

Braves win again albeit with some help from the umpiring crew. Despite Freddie Freeman's thoughts even if they sweep today I can't see them making up 6 1/2 with 16 to go. Hopefully they won't drop 6 1/2 and lose the wildcard - again.

Baseball? Living in Pittsburgh, where we don't have a major league franchise, baseball season is that empty space between the end of hockey season and the opening of Steelers training camp.

It doesn't really matter. Parise left for the Minnesota Wild and Brodeur is getting old. Across the river, the Rangers just can't seem to do it either.

It's tough being a mets, Devils, Rangers and Jets fan.
