Nats are on fire - again. They are hitting home runs like crazy! Chicago got fed up last night after basically doing nothing against the Nats for the whole series. They started two bench and bullpen clearing confrontations and one brawl. May be some suspensions coming. It was messy.

it does seem to be still getting darker though.
Based upon the last few week's games, you're a dyed-in-the-wool optimist. I went to school with a girl named Valentine. She was not this bad!

They seemed to have transitioned out of free fall.
now they have jet pack boost enabled heading straight for the dirt.

I wonder how the Cub's management is now looking at their wunderkind steal from the Sox.
Epstein's legacy here ain't looking so good.

Nats had a bit of air taken out of their tires by the Marlins last night in a 9-7 loss.

But came back this evening after a 6-2 deficit to win in the 10th 7-6, after a two-hour rain delay. Big win.

I found it amazingly intelligent and brave that Johnson sat Strasburg for the rest of the season. Someone actually cares about their players health and longevity. for Johnson and I will rout them through to the WS (if the the Phils don't make it )

Bad day for the Nats...lost 8-0! Seems it's feast or famine with them in terms of runs.

Roger Clemens at 50 years old may be pitching for the Astro's before the end of this season. I heard it on a sports show last night.

Nats are back in fine form. Beat the Mets last night 5-1 with three home runs. They have been on a home run tear recently. Gio Gonzalez became the first starting pitcher with 19 wins. Cy Young talk for him.

Not so fast. Beating the mets isn't that big of a deal. Everybody beats the mets.

lets go mets.
