The nice thing about being a mets fan is that at the beginning of April you know exactly where they'll be in August, September and October. True to form, they are 19 games behind, playing .467 ball and about 13 games under .500. No surprises here. I suppose if Philadelphia was having the kind of season everyone expected my metsies would be in even worse shape.

lets go mets.

Nats beat the Braves again last night 4-1 with a great performance by Strasburg. Peeps are trying to figure out when he is pitching his remaining games, since he is being pulled soon. I hope he pitches on Sep 2 against the Cards since we will be in attendance. They are the next best team against the Nats, who are now seven games up!! A truly remarkable season.

Did you mean the Reds? They currently have the 2nd best record in the NL.

Medlen pitched a gem and the Bravos dodged the broom. Maybe they can make up some ground on the left coast.

Yep...Nats didn't play too well last night. I guess they can't win *every* game.

The Braves split 4 with the Giants and the Phils swept the Nats (huh?). The lead's 4 1/2 with 30 odd games to go. This could get interesting.
