Just thought I'd get in here quickly and apologize for being Awol for so long. Life has just been a little different here. +1 has been home, not retired, since July. The cause - automotive meltdown. Michigan's own China syndrome brought on by person or persons unknown purchasing Honda vehicles.
From a very quick review of the threads congratulations go to Phil and his lovely fiancee and to Michelle for surviving all her surgeries.
Every year I hope that we will not put so many miles on Tachus and with our puppy we really didn't go driving so much this summer. However, we both had our sister's visit from the UK. Each sister wanted to ride in the S as much as they could so we had two additional trips down to Route 26. We ended the season with the usual 15,000 miles. I was so glad to read of someone having 200,000 on their S, otherwise Tachus would be worn out before I was too old to ride in it, at the rate of 15,000 a year. Thanks for the encouragement.

Catherine. Nice to hear from you. Sorry about +1's employment situation. It's been a rough year for many folks. Hope things turn around for all concerned soon!
It appears you managed plenty of fun time in the S. Good for you!
We put on less than 5K this year, instead of our usual 9-10K, but life and some really bad weather got in the way.
I hope we get to see you in PA in May.
PS Most of the mileage we put on the S was for a lovely trip to Nova Scotia. Great time and great place to be in the S.

We certainly did take time to enjoy the car this past summer and are looking forward to Spring Fling in May. We have not made it further east in Canada than Quebec. My father was from New Brunswick and one of these years we must go there.
Emil was Quebec weather so bad this past summer? We were cooler than usual but still good driving conditions. What happened to your plans to move to where the weather is good?
