Try this one also. Pretty cool. Click on satellite on the right and you get a "mapquest" via satellite.

Did you work with it for a while? You can zoom into any building almost anywhere in the world. I found Virginija's parents house in Melbourne, Australia, my sister's house in Binghamton, etc... You can turn on street names, hotels, restaurants, etc..
If you pay $20/year, you can use it with GPS (though who has broadband on their laptop while traveling?)
It's really cool to be zommed into some are, then type in a zip code and watch it take you there.
I just noticed that Area 51 is bookmarked for you!

If you want to just look at the US like your house try Microsoft's Terra Server haven't played with it for a few years but they put it up to showcase SQL Server 2000's performance capabilities several years ago.

The more I play with the Google Earth, the more impressed I am. Zoom in on many major cities, and see shots with up to 1 meter resolution.
For those folks visiting downtown Cleveland before or after the upcoming Buckeye run, here's a shot of the waterfront: the Cleveland Browns stadium on the left, next is the Great Lakes Science Museum, then the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame:
Very cool!
