Wow, not a single post today. If you went to church today for palm sunday did they lock everyone up?

Nice win for Ferrari. Sorry Emil but Red Bull let your boy down again. I hated to see Alanzo screw up, I always root for him.

IndyCar. A win under yellow allows sucks. I hated to see Herta screw up, I always root for him as well.

Wee hours on Sunday morning might be the reason not as many people watched the race. It is unfortunate Red Bull suffered more engine trouble for Max. We shall see how this season progresses. It's a marathon. I was glad for Perez, the other Red Bull team driver who finished 2nd.

I think Russell won the safety car lottery. Talk about perfect timing, he was heading towards the pits when the safety car came out.
I honestly don't know what Lewis was whining about.

Many drivers are whining about slow safety car in Aston Martin. Apparently, safety cars are pre-positioned throughout the racing circuit so for the race in Down Under, Aston Martin was on duty.

After Yesterdays exciting F1 sprint race I'm really looking forward to today's F1 longer race.

There was a brief stretch of racing in there but the second half was a parade.
I did feel bad for Lewis and the turn of events during Friday's 3 stage qualifying placement event.
They sent him out on inters early and everyone else was on dry slicks. BY the time he got back out was the red flag and after that was the rain.
This dropped him deep in the field on Saturday and he got stuck in the DRS train, Which is where he was on Sunday.
Mercedes just doesn't really have the speed so far this year to work their way through the field.
Ferrari was lucky to salvage what they did.
Poor Sainz never got a chance before he got parked.

I read an interesting little article that said Ferrari and Red bull may have known about porpoising ahead of time.
I guess the benefit of being old is you have a memory of when F1 cars had ground effects.
It should not have been a surprise to anyone.

That sums it up . . . except I would say the 2/3rds of the race was a parade. Where was the rain when I wanted it.

I am glad Perez came in 2nd. Red Bull took first two. Perez seems to be genuinely a nice guy. I wouldn't mind seeing him continue his rise. Red Bull team did well today.

As a Honda fan, I was happy to see the result. As I am tried of several seasons of who is going to be third on the podium as MB has been dominate. This season should be interesting. I for one are happy to see that the American Haas team is scoring points.
