Just catch her eye and then apologize for staring by saying " I'm sorry it's just you have such beautiful eyes."

My cousin met his wife in the grocery store. They were both buying dog food. My cousin asked her what kinda dog she had, 10 minutes later he had her # and a date.

The opportunities are endless and all around you, go for it.

I had the good sense not to go off with strangers as a child and a college student, why should I change that very successful policy as an adult?
Every once in a while, someone posts something that should be "BRONZED"!
I hereby nominate this as the "SAYING OF THE DAY"!

I innocently asked her if she knew what time the fireworks were supposed to start.
And when did the "fireworks start?

What are potato flakes????

Are they some kind of instant mashed potato? Am I missing out on some gourmet food?
Definitely NOT gourmet! Just add hot water and PRESTO! Pasty mashed 'taters. I used to have a recipe for cookies that called for potato flakes. They were pretty tasty...not a bit pasty.

It's the boots; men just can't help themselves.
This very topic started a long-lived thread on the Del Valley forum.

In fact, it was called Show Me The Boots and attracted an audience from everywhere on s2ki.com The boots finally did show up at our MWG in....what....2003

'Fraid these boots weren't spurring the same kind of interest as those discussed in that forum....though mine are probably more snow-worthy And I believe Drewchie did mention something about the only pink boots allowed should be ones with stiletto heels (he's been reading the Victorias Secret catalogs )

All of the women friends I've known, ALL, have expressed how annoying it is to be hit on when they're out grocery shopping and the like. Chance of success near zero.

OK, and for those of you who are on the normal 50-posts-per-age, that would be the middle of page 4....but I think mine have hers beat!
