Same here, that is a new one on me. What happens if they have a visitor spend the night, or worse yet a few days?
Jerry, we only have a carport at the beach and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving the car there (just yet). Maybe when we have a travel schedule that is a little more routine. It might be a good option. I have the Honda car cover. I'm not sure if you would consider that "good quality" or not.

I'm in a condo and we are allowed to "store" in our driveway. I have 4 cars and in the winter I store two of them in neighbor's garages. We have lots of snowbirds here. I offer to pay but one is glad to let me use it and the other requests I check on their furnace once in a while and water a couple of plants. Not ideal but works for me. I have used close-by rental places that cost 50 bucks for a 10x20, which leaves enough room for a jetski and a motorcycle or two. Suggestion is to get to know your neighbors.

How deep is the garage? My neighbor puts his Miata on tire casters and swings it sideways along the back garage wall, once on casters you can move it with one hand.
