Default Anyone remember the Honda Agento Vivo concept?

The Honda/Pininfarina Agento Vivo concept is such a cool car that I had to bring it up again. Too bad only one unit was produced back in 1995. Maybe we can convince Honda to bring this out as the next generation S2000.

A chrome hood? I can't imagine driving that on a sunny day. (Or behind one, for that matter.) But the lines of the car do look nice.

It looks very nice, -- more luxurious than an S -- but not a real sports caah like the ones on Top Gear!

They used the 2.5TL/Quint motor according to the Pininfarina website, but I don't remember it either.

I figure a production version would not have the chrome. But the lines are beautiful. And the folded metal top is also a nice touch. I didn't think too many people here would remember it, so I posted the links. The Honda SSM concept car (which became the S2000 in production) also appear about 1995 and there were some similarities in the lines, but to me the lines of the Agento Vivo is more flowing than the SSM.

For more pictures (including interior shots, which looks dated), go here:
http://retractable.free.fr/uk/index.html and click on the "prototypes" link near the bottom left, then scroll down to the "honda agento vivo". Unfortunately the site does not allow direct links to the pages, only their home page.

Great styling for a car. It would be nice to have the folding HT.
