You might want to look into Harrisonburg. Restaurants, hotels (but also Dolly Madison Teachers College...errrr, James Madison U and lots of Rockingham County turkeys). That weekend might be graduation at JMU.

By the way, I hope that more "able-bodied" will join in on Granny's pool party next year! There was a hard core group of 12 of us in the water, but....what about the other 75+ folks? As Granny will attest, those of us in the water were tired and sore the next morn, but had a great time. My feet were literally bloody from getting torn up on the pool bottom....now about 1/2 doz bandaids on the bottom of my feet. Note to self: Bring water shoes next time
