But imagine a Honda of North America car to take on the Toyotas (and Chevys and Fords) with De Ferran at the wheel for Roger Penske.
No reason for Honda to get involved with NASCAR. It's not their market.

Oh...but it IS Toyota's market? You'll have to explain the fine distinction to me.

I know there is a better chance that Oakland will win this year's Superbowl. I was just throwing it out there for fun.

And by the way...great vid. Thanks, Jim, for sharing it with those of us who don't have speed. I'm glad it hasn't quite gone nascar 24/7. Do they still have wrc coverage or coverage of that upstart rally series?

WRC is now shown on the HDT (High Def Theater) channel. In fact, they now cover a lot of cool racing stuff. Look for it.

Great footage. Thanks for the link, Jim. The Corvette has the better part of this argument. The Porsche's move was far more blatant. I'm glad no one was hurt.

How many V8 powered trucks does Honda sell?

Toyota is the largest carmaker in the world, with a full range of products all through the market segments.

Honda is a niche player.

I'd be willing to bet that almost as many die-hard NASCAR fans own honda Accords, Civics, etc as those who own Toyota pickups.
