There goes the bell and they're off!

It's Ace and other guy going before Bucky. The Dolly Parton imitator and the rocker are neck and neck in in the final. Mandisa hangs in there and edges Joe Cocker. The tall redhead goes next and the little one is the wild card.

And the dish ran away with the spoon(jdm)

That's my opinion, it will change next week.

Many people were shocked Kathleen was in the final 3 this week. Personally, I think she is a lounge/caberet singer more than a pop idol. But it does seem that Simon is smitten by her.

Kelly Pickler is cute, and has lots of personality, but I don't think she's got the vocal strength to make it all the way. But it's not vocal strength that will pick a winner.

I get a kick out of "Joe Cocker". He's just so quirky. It would be a hoot if he went all the way.

Ace has the sex appeal factor that teen girls like. I don't know how far that will take him. His smoldering looks into the camera are predictible.

Mandisa/Paris are very good singers, but I'm not sure they have 'it'. But I didn't think Fantasia had 'it' either and she won!

I say it's anyone's race at this point.

BTW, I've never called or text voted for anyone on the show.
