LOL Quite often he ended up taking the bus. I remember my midget moved about as fast as turtles racing on a peanut butter covered racetrack but I still enjoyed driving it.

As noted, over time, people start to expect, adjust and accept things like this. So having optional things that I choose to turn on/off seems like the path - offering a car with mandatory options seems like they should be called standard (and at a premium). At the same time, forcing people to pay monthly for safety features and the like, puts us back 100+ years,
I can buy a Tesla, and instead of Spotify, spend $12 for their streaming service As long as they aren't blocking that or preventing me to insert a flash drive or card to hear my music, it's my choice. Same with auto-drive. I can choose to buy it, rent it monthly or leave it. If you're forcing it, jack the price up and put it on the bill - then I can decide if its worth it up front.

My younger nephew who is the car and racing fanatic has a 2013 Scion FR-S he has done different mods to. He is prepping it now for racing in Oct at Grattan Raceway in MI. A friend is reserving the track for two days for his 50th birthday celebration.
His racing simulator and a few pics of the car. Ice racing is kinda cool.
