Probably some cosmetic stuff he wouldn't spend his own money on but all in all he's pretty happy. But he was hoping they would yank those amps and that subwoofer out and save him the trouble.

Who would believe Cat Converters would be replaced by Cows as the thing to steal. Gary Larson would.

CALHOUN COUNTY, MI – Police are searching for a stolen wagyu calf. The calf was stolen between 10 p.m. May 16 and 7:30 a.m. May 17 from the 8000 block of 13 Mile Road in Fredonia Township in Calhoun County, Michigan State Police said.

Wagyu beef is one of the most expensive meats in the world. Wagyu calves sell for $2,500 at a starting price

I am getting the Jeep ready for a Jeepers camping trip in the Rockies in June with our usual group. I sold the tear drop trailer, so I‘m going to go over to Pagosa where Coop is going to help me construct a base for a bed and storage. Last week we installed a front bumper with a plate for holding the winch.

Still have to install the fog lights and light bar.

The entire Southwest is pretty much under severe fire alerts because of the extreme drought. All but one (The Gila) of the forests in New Mexico for example are closed to camping. So our Jeeping plans may be somewhat tenuous.

I like it, Deb.

Jim, thought of you as I passed dozens of Jeeps on the way home from golf today. This weekend is "Jeepin' the Coast" here in Long Beach. Kind of a play on "Cruisin' the Coast". It has grown every year since it started three or four years ago, in spite of COVID.

Here is Part 2. (Part Three will be about the stand alone engine management system and dyno tuning.

Have fun, Jim. Why did you sell your little trailer? Was it too annoying to deal with towing?

Hi, Mike!

No, Lainey, When I sold the acreage I had no place to park the trailer or store it. So we are equipping the Jeep itself for sleeping and camping. it‘s pretty much ready to go now, with ample storage underneath the bed. I just got a set of window covers from Weathertech that specifically fit a JLU Jeep. I still have my ARB fridge/freezer, (which also gives me a place to stash the Tequila.)

Sorry, typo, Lainey!

Almost all of the group have switched over to roof top tents for sleeping. It would be easy to install one on my Jeep, but I‘m not so good on a ladder for getting up and into a roof top these days.

Tesla's Autopilot has been involved in 273 crashes over the past year. Personally, I would never trust this technology and I think it leads to driver disengagement. Here's the article from the WaPo. https://wapo.st/3xSHqkD

And they just raised the prices on all their models.
