I should clarify. I do not dislike the looks of the car. I just dislike the orange color!

How am I doing in discussing the cars?

Same car as above just because the sunlight makes the colors better.

^There.

I love the car, but hate the wheels, yuck, all of them. The wheels on my Civic look nicer to me.

Sue, I'm with you. I just am judging by color. I could stand the orange if it was given to me but not yellow.

The wheels on the AM suck - too big and make it look stupid. The lines aren't bad for a modern car but I'll take the real deal over it anytime.

Since buying a 2022 Honda Civic Si, I've worked on teaching my son to drive manual. He had about 1.5 hours of driving time behind the wheel training with me up to this point in time. Today we took a 2 hour highway trip to visit family out of town, and he drove the entire day. He did awesome, zero mistakes and very smooth. The Civic is a perfect car to learn on, very easy to drive for a beginner. I know it took me much longer to learn when I was younger.

The Civic has a perfect clutch and shifter for learning, and a few tech features that help (hill start assist). He also got some seat time using the adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, and all of the other safety systems. You can even shift gears when in cruise control mode without cancelling the system, which is cool.

None of his friends know how to drive a manual, many kids just don't learn it anymore. So I am happy that he is able to drive a manual tranny automobile. It is kind of sad how few cars have manuals today.

Time to teach him how to heel and toe.
