In case you ever wondered if British cars in 60s ever leaked oil before leaving the factory.

At the Irvine, CA Costco I saw this. The owner loves it and works at Rivian, nearby.

Thanks, I've been reading about that truck for a couple years but that's first photo I've seen on public roads.

I drove right by the Rivian building on my way home. I think they ruined the looks with those ridiculous lights on the front but other than that, and the icky color, I liked it.

Two pictures from the internet that jumped out at me. Love them both for totally different reasons. Pre-war MG and a 250 Testa Rossa.

FWIIW: I have been paying attention to the shape of DRL's and head lights lately as I have the "hots" for a new vehicle, and I don't like the looks of many of them. Additionally, I don't understand the move away from metallic paint and some of the icky colors that are being offered.
My current interest is the Acura TLX Type S, with 355 HP. Although they only come with a ten speed automatic But, they are apparently made out of "unobtainium" as I cannot find a dealer that has one to even look at within hundreds of miles on the Acura website. BTW, there is an up charge for the metallic white paint. I guess that they are offering the flat icky colors as an incentive to up grade to a nice color?

Patricia, I agree with you about the head lights and the color.

and you hit the nail on the head. there is $$$$ in colors and different paint.
The base Maybach two tone paint is a $13,500 upcharge and that isn't going into the custom color palette.
The "finish work" on the McLaren Senna on BaT today was $330+k
People will pay to look pretty.

A guy that used to live a couple of miles from me had a real TR. He was a second homeowner or probably 3rd or 4th or more, and he used to have his caretaker take it out to exercise it and that thing would literally shake the ground as it went by. Definite goosebumps.
