Have we talked about the Lucid Air?
I love the styling that looks great while boasting the lowest drag coefficient among production passenger vehicles. I love that it is quicker than most Teslas and handles better than any of them, and exhibits build quality Tesla can only dream about.
Speaking of dreams, the Dream Edition does cost more than a well equipped S-class and the software is still half baked. (The hardware is there for self driving but the software doesn't even support intelligent cruise control yet.) And Lucid is still something of an unknown quantity when it comes to reliability and support. But then so was Tesla once. The Lucid is fast (really fast), luxurious, efficient, roomy, and practical. So other than the price, what's not to like?
Here's Hagerty's take, with a surprise guest appearance by a couple other of my favorite YouTube content providers.
