Today's observations...
I had to bring some furniture and a new TV to my cousin who's in assisted living. I borrowed a friend's pickup just in case. It removed any fear the boxes wouldn't slide through the trunk opening in the Civic. He's got some giant crew cab RAM diesel that's massive. I guess it helps with 3 kids and golf clubs? lol
I picked it up last night and dropped off the Civic (I gave him a choice btw, that's what he picked. He's about 5 minutes from me. Nice ride, 8 speed auto, big sunroof, it adjusts ride height by speed. But, way too f'in big for me.
I stopped at Walmart to get what I needed and and headed to my cousin's. Coming from the S and even the Civic, I thought I was in the cockpit of a plane. Dozens of buttons and switches. Took me a good 10 minutes to find the radio and just play music. I did like that once I found the wire and plugged in my phone, it paired instantly without codes, etc.. and worked.
Second observation. I figure it's the right thing to do to fill his tank as a thank you. So I pull into a station, there's 9 pumps, but only 2 have diesel. There's cones on one side of the pump island and only two cars in the whole place. Guess where - the two pumps that have diesel. The attendant notices and has me back in to the other side (where the cones were). I guess it was the other gas pumps with issues but diesel was fine. It's just something I never noticed before -- do people consider which pump to pull up to for gas if not all pumps have gas and diesel?

If you had waited the buyer may not have been as motivated.
I drove my NSX and S2000 yesterday. Neither had been driven in weeks and I wanted to be sure the batteries were charged. I took the 2017 NSX to UPS and the post office. Then on the way home I thought that it was a good time to take photos to help prove my point to the judge when I go to court on Monday in order to fight my speeding ticket that I received on 8-5-2024. The S2000 was a better choice since I had to park on the side of a two-lane road to take photos an it's not as wide in the rear. It's also the car I was driving when I got the ticket.
^Looking to the south and the road drops off as it goes down a hill. Road to the left is not visible from the other view, looking to the north.

This is looking to the north and shows the hill he saw my S2000 come over. He assumed that my car was the one he radared although he never saw it.

It sounds like a decent case. Hopefully the officer doesn't backtrack on his statements to you. If he has no visual, he doesn't know it was you. Having some documentation can't hurt.
In every case I've been in in NJ, you don't see the judge until necessary. The prosecutor cuts the deal and hands it to the judge to read. The line of people talking to the prosecutor happens off to the side while the judge is dealing with all the other non-motor related cases on the docket.
