I do too. I would have preferred a solid blue or red but the options were a very dark blue or rusty red. My mods are done.

Patricia, I had no idea you were a crazy cat lady. I thought you were just a crazy Honda girl.

Ford & EV Sales – They are scaling back a lithium battery plant project under development just a ½ hour from us by $1B and the state is cutting back its assistance. Ford is believed to have lost $3B on last year’s EV sales and sales for the first quarter fell by 15% from a year earlier. Whom ever wins this year’s Presidential election will also be a huge factor going forward. Meanwhile the approach Toyota and Honda have taken to go slow with any transition is really paying off compared to Detroit.

Has any tried to buy a timing light recently? It seems they are all crap these days with 10% or so failing within a few uses. I need one and its frustrating.

Seriously? Have I not posted enough cat photos? I'm losing my crazy Honda girl self. I'm not impressed with the new ones.

Even brand name ones like Snap On? Yeah look what I’m asking most new tools now aren’t what they used to be. Dave I would check out swap meets or flea markets things of that nature and try to find an old Sun or Craftsman timing light. You could probably find one on E-bay but personally I would want to check a tool like a timing light out in person rather than buying it on good faith.

I've got an old school one that seems to work well and I used it for years. I'd send it to you Dave if I can dig it up from my garage.

I can't remember the number but Ford was losing a huge amount for each EV sold, like $40,000 ? Whatever the number was just sounded like a bad investment plant.

VW is investing billions in a battery plant by my home , I can't see it doing all that well either. The EV VW assembly plants in Germany have been scaling back big time as sales have been slower than expected in Europe.

I won an EV for free and I didn't even want to keep it. Things were pushed way to fast IMO

VW is putting a lot of money into Rivian in exchange for stock and the right to use Rivians software technology we will see how that pans out for them. VW stock is near its 52 week low currently.
Rivian has been losing 38,000 a vehicle.
