and the rear shades are called privacy screens.

So you have 4 in CO and 3 in CA now?
The paper work calls them rear manual side window shades. Maybe Mercedes is fancier.

Right now I have four in Colorado and two in California. California has the 2005 NSX and the 2015 Crosstour.

Congratulations on the new car. Consumer Reports says its one of the best available. It offers more performance and/or interior capacity than the Lexus RX. YouTube videos that I saw rave about it. Aside from the price, I wish I had looked at one when we bought our SUV last October.

I thought the RX350 looked like a piece of jewelry. It has beautiful paint and pleasing lines. It just didn't have enough cargo space for me so I never drove one.

Congrats Patty! The key to owning vehicles of that caliber is to not own them out of warranty so you should be good.

Maybe the the 2 row GX , a direct competitor to the X5. Handsome brute and ready for off road excursions. Some have called it the Land Rover that won't leave you stranded. Bit of a looker, too.

I know you already have the X5. Just posting this for conversation.

It's too boxy for my taste. Probably bigger than I need and more money. At least the grill is decent.

I used to laugh at the thought that people needed steering wheel heaters, I thought that was a ridiculous feature. But damn if I don't think it is the greatest thing ever invented now. In winter with cold arthritic hands it just feels so good. I love it.

I've never had it before. I'll be happy I'm sure but even happier that the vents at the feet work like they should. My feet were always cold in the winter in my Pilot.
