TX/CO Jim may not be doing so well when it comes to walking, but he can certainly still put the pedal to the metal! Both his BMW and Porsche are awesome cars. The growl from the Porsche engine is amazing! The Jeep is nice, too.

No off roading. But still an awesome ride with the top down. It was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies and snow capped mountains.

And yet another Cybertruck sighting. They stick out like a fine sore thumb. This was taken at the Lake Forest Sports Park in California today when I was on my maiden voyage with my new white ElliptiGO 11R. I got 18 miles in and now I'll be rather late arriving at the NSX WestFest hotel in San Diego. It would help if I'd go take a shower and pack instead of being on Vintage and Facebook.
^5-16-2023. Lake Forest Sports Park when I was at mile 12 of 18 for Every day in May.
^5-16-2023. Heros Park in Lake Forest when I started my ride. Well, it's a 2015 Honda V6 Crosstour. I LOVE that car. It hauls ass!

In that side by side picture, one design (bike) is a work of art with smooth flowing lines, the truck not so much.

We got our first VW car recently. I've driven Hondas for most of my life, but this VW peaked our interest the closer we looked at it.
I won a VW ID.4 EV in past weeks. But I asked the VW dealer to keep the ID.4 EV and we used the value instead. So we took the VW GTI, along with a good bit of cash instead. It turned out to be a good deal for us as the EV just wasn't needed and it would not work with my daily driver work needs. The GTi is much more fun to drive than I ever expected, really good handling, ride, braking, power and fuel economy. It is much faster than I ever knew. I think they under-rate this car at 240 hp and 270 ft lbs torque, every dyno I've seen of the car puts that power down to the wheels, and it only needs 87 pump gas. The only thing we have done to it is to add the rear upper hatch spoiler extension. We got the cloth plaid seats on the interior, which are really nice, the interior is pretty nice and comfy. Most people complain about the infotainment system with all of its capacitive touch features, but we have gotten use to it already, not that bad really. We are loving it so far, and nice to have a hatchback. We got the DSG auto 7 speed dual clutch tranny which is very slick and fast shifting, works great.

Congratulations on your big win. And the GTI was a nice choice. Along with the Golf R, last of the Golf/Rabbits.
