I'm still amazed at how many people are hung up on the regular vs premium fuel thing.

That won't buy a specific vehicle because it requires premium fuel. A lot of pickup truck people around me complain about gas prices and yet they're running around in a truck that gets 15mpg. I tell them I get 22-23 out of my Rover and they immediately ask if it takes premium.

Yes, the new 2021 Jeep Cherokee has a four cylinder with a turbo. My mileage is good, much better than my first Jeep, a 2002 Liberty. However there is not much difference in mileage from the previous Jeep Cherokee (2014) that had a 6 cylinder and used regular gas. That engine wasn't offered in this Jeep.

6 for me, it's never bothered me, but I hear about it quite often. Gets tiring.

I'm a piker with just three rides. The Danger Ranger takes regular but the Lexus and the Miata both require premium. 4.05 / Gal in Mississippi right now. Ouch.

Why would my preference to save $8 per fill up matter to you? I have five Hondas/Acuras. Three take premium: 2005 NSX, 2007 S2000 and 2017 NSX. My 2015 Crosstour and 2017 Pilot V6s take regular. Gas in California is expensive. My last 2005 NSX group drive cost over $100 in gas.
