$6 on sale at Costco for Rainguard or Michelin wiper blade inserts.
A professional car wash ripped one of the blades of my 2020 450GLE and they offered to replace them with receipt. Went to the dealer and $100 later, I had two new blades that have a lifetime/wear dot on them to let you know when they are shot.

Oh, I didn't know that. Since all of my cars are Hondas/Acuras I've just been replacing the rubber inserts.

I always thought the Honda- GM alliance was very odd and not likely to end well for Honda. It seems like the deal has ended though, no one ever comes out ahead when they team up with GM.

I heard some interesting numbers today.
Why you should buy a EV: Now is the best time to buy a used EV if you really want to try one. EV's that sold for $60k in just 18 months are going for $26k at auction. A drop of 73%.
Why you should buy a ICE: An ICE car that sold for $50k in the same period is still worth 38k. A drop of just 25%.

Every car lover dreams about that barn find.
Normally i hate facebook marketplace but I was on there this morning.
A '75 Merc 450Sl popped up, it had just been posted in the next town over.
Been sitting for a quite a while, owned by older guy who had to go into long term care.
High mileage but assuming the frame is good you can fix anything with time and money except rust.
First glance, hmmm looking ok.
then I checked the bottom of the drivers fender, oooh rust bubble.
Lay on garage floor, tap floor pan.... get soft wump response, tap again, different place. rust from floor pan drops into hand.
'Oh well thanks but no thanks. This is a parts car."
run, don't walk, run away.

^ I once new a guy who loved to find cars covered in dirt and dust, he said it protected the car from rust lol. I'm not too sure about that, but It sure helps during negotiations to get the price lower though.
