I replaced the old Alpine X305 HU with the UTE-73BT. The old unit can no longer play music from my iPhone. Alpine does not offer any new firmware for the latest iOS.

Call coming in and out clear even with the top down at highway speed. All dash functions work with Modify DCI except mute. The new HU does not have an audio interruption wire.

I did the clutch and brake fluid as well this past weekend. The clutch fluid was very dark.

Your car only has 31,118 miles on it? What year is it?

Very nice setup!

BTW... I use a Plantronics headset with my phone. Ppl don't complain about the audio as much as when I was using my Alpine Bluetooth and a mic.

The new HU is missing an audio interruption wire when compared wiring diagram.

I know, need to drive more for sure. This is a 2007 model.

Now that I got rid of the Z3, I can just open the garage and pull out. It was a pain playing Tetris with the vehicles we have. We are one car less as of last week.

Mine is also a 2007 but I drive the wheels off of it. I was using the NSX instead of the S2000 because the Hustler ride-on mower was behind the S. Last week I just carefully squeezed it out. I may take it again to RMNP today when I go with my 2 pm entry pass. With the aspens changing colors it's a shame not to take a convertible. It's so gutless though at 9,000 feet.

^9-25-2023. The Golden Pass! To get into RMNP you have to have a reservation between the hours of 9 am to 2 pm. To drive on Bear Lake Road you need this pass between 5 am and 6 pm.
