For fans of endurance racing, Le Mans, Porsche, or Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, this 45 minute YouTube documentary from Hagerty is worth a watch.

We'll see if I have to take it to service.
Well, I took my SUV to Tire World and had the left front tire patched properly from the inside. The representative told me not to plug it next time as it voids warranty. I paid $35 which I think is extremely reasonable. They were very professional and did excellent job. I left a five star review for their work. I am glad there is still places like this with great customer service.

That's a good price for an interior patch, best way to do it, though I have used plugs for many years without issues to get me through the short term. I don't put much faith in any tire warranty , not sure why they even offer warranties as everything is excluded, lol.

Finally got around to watching this.Hagerty says narrated by Dempsey, clearly it was Long that did most of the talking. Dempsey may have made the production (?) of the hour long Porsche commercial.

To be honest I had forgotten Porsche did so well at LeMans. When I think of LeMans, Ferrari comes to mind first and in modern times Audi.

These are the beautiful Abarth-Porsches that had the benefit of Italian styling when I was there in 1962; from my first roll of film in my Argus C3. They took three consecutive class victories at LeMans.

I just watched a video taken by a friend of my first track day with my S2000 at Gingerman in October 2002. What a thrill. I was nervous as heck as it was the most expensive car I ever bought and I had never done a track day before. Harry Cash was there the same weekend in his red S2000, as were a few others. My buddy was there in his MGA race car and I was using his extra helmet. Ah, the good old days that started my love of the track.

They gave me a loaner to use today while my WRX was being fixed it was a loaded 23 legacy. It had the start/ stop feature which shuts the car off pretty much every time you stop then you press on the gas to go and it starts up again. I can see now why some people are hesitating when lights turn green it takes a few seconds to get the car started. I don’t see how it can be more economical it is a huge wear on the starter and car i.m.o.

The starter usually is oversized and if it's on a hybrid model it more or less comes for free.
but as for the slow start, mine at least as soon as you lift off of the brake it starts running.
