It is interesting to be looking at the Accord again after all these years. The ex and I bought the first Civic model year (1973) and then the first Accord (1976). Both were fantastic cars.

Accords are great cars. I suggested to my sister that she buy one and she did and loves it has had it for over a decade and zero issues just maintenance.

I have a friend who spent $225k and 5 years restoring and modifying a 73 Corvette. The big unveiling is Saturday at a local muscle car show. There will be a crew there to take pics and viceo. All I know about it is it has an LS9 pumping over 1000hp on the ground.

He's really excited. I taking my my Grandsons to the show. I'll get some pics. For that kind of money it should be absolutely wild although why he chose a 73 Corvette for this project I have no idea. He has interesting taste in cars. He' a former S2000 owner.
Here's the question. If you could pick a car to restore and modify at that level, what would your choice be?

Time and money no object? Right at this moment, I'm thinking Alpine A110.

A guy that lives near me has a C-1 corvette restomod and he said he has over 250k into it. Seemed high to me but when you break it down it adds up to big bucks.
Car I would choose would be a Ferrari 308GTB. I would modify the interior so I could fit comfortably and put a Ferrari 355 motor in it and maybe switch out the black rubber bumpers for the later painted Ferrari 328 ones.

Money no object, I would see if Jay Leno would let go of his 1934 Duesenberg Walker Coupe. https://www.motorauthority.com/news/...-leno-s-garage
For something closer to the $225k maybe a higher mileage Ferrari Dino or a pristine Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2 plus a nice 997 Turbo Coupe.

I would keep any of those pretty much stock.

If I was a billionaire I would buy this and shoot anyone who tried to modify it.
