Crown Vic’s are great cars they are very comfortable and run forever.

I think my Mom's is roughly 35 years old now. There's no connection between the steering wheel and what really happens - there's so much play in it. The driver's couch no longer has support. While it may run forever, its a land yacht - and compared to anything modern, or remotely modern, it is just worn out.

However, for my Mom, it sits in Florida for 8 months and when she's there, she has something to get groceries, Rx, and get around the area. So, it serves it's purpose and doesn't owe her a dime,

Sounds like my Dad. He has a 99 Lincoln that he loves he does what he can to keep it going but it is getting a bit rough around the edges but he wants to hang on to it. He always says we will see which dies first him or the Lincoln.

Anyone have a Tesla SUV? Looks like about 12k of them could be recalled after a missing bolt caused the steering wheel to fall off! Teslas are very popular here.

Wonder what happens with a self-driving car if the steering wheel falls off?
