I arrived in Durango yesterday. I mostly drive the little Bemer back and forth to Colorado. It‘s more comfortable on long drives than the S.
I am having to get some snow removed so I can manage to get from the garage to the house. I just finished putting a small snow blower together that is narrow enough for the back yard walkways. Gotta go try it out now.
Apologies for an OT response. Just delete…

Hi Patricia! Yeah, I‘ve been working on some unfinished academic research for a while and have neglected to post much. I am hoping that a Spring Fling gets planned soon. My S is serviced and ready to go.It stays mostly in Colorado, but m main mechanic is in Houston, so I drive it to Houston when it needs attention.

@robb ah yes, thanks. A while since I've seen older Bond films, they're all blurring into one.
My first "turbo drive" was a mid-80s Ford Laser TX3, which I think was a Mercury Tracer in the US, although I don't know if you got a turbo version. Small hatchback, only about 140hp stock but light and FWD so power delivery was 3500rpm of nothing before a wall of torque steer. The one in the photo below is a 4WD model, which would have come in handy.
After that it was a modified Ford Sierra Cosworth that very much enjoyed wheelspin at 70mph. It handled very well around corners, as long as you stayed off boost.
