Jim, what do they put on the roads there to deal with ice?

I seen an internet story about the Tesla roadster that has been delayed up to this point in time but the article suggested it is getting closer. It might be the only Tesla that looks good to me, if it gets produced. A 2 -second 0-60 time, and an option to get it down to 1.1 seconds is absolutely nuts I could not imagine how fast that would feel.

I’m not sure, Rob, but it’s sand, I think - no salt, but there may be some chemical for melting the ice in critical spots. They are always prepared for plowing when it snows, and the roadways are virtually open 24/7.
We have a Jeep JLU with snow tires here, so I only drive the S2000 when the streets and roads are clear. The abundance of sunshine here helps a lot.

No, Gene, but thanks for asking. We have had three offers, two at asking price, but they were withdrawn because of loan or other problems not associated with the cabin. We are confident that it will sell soon. As you know, the house and 40 acres of ag land with water rights are very attractive.

In some parts of Canada they use potash , no idea what it looks like but it must be plentiful in those regions. Here it is always salt, they do pre-treat roads ahead of ice storms with some kind of beet juice concentrate or other compounds at times.
